Brechin strengthened their challenge for a play-off place with an emphatic victory over bottom side Berwick.

Darren Smith shot home from the edge of the box before Adam Nelson drove in the home side's second goal.

John Ward headed home a Kevin Byers corner early in the second half and Brechin were in complete control when Charlie King blasted in a free-kick.

Late in the game, Calum Smith shot into an empty net after Nicky Walker had challenged keeper Chris Flockhart.
