
Forfar progressed to the third round of the Scottish Cup with a deserved win over East Stirling.
Shire's Michael Bolochoweckyj was sent off for handling in the 12th minute, but Ross Campbell missed from the spot.
In the 25th minute Campbell pounced on a rebound, then Andy Tod headed home the 34th minute before Andy Rogers pulled one back with a solo effort.
Shire's David Dunn levelled from a corner, then Campbell put Forfar in front and Ian Harty fired in a penalty.
