Ayr United 3-1 Lochee United
Ayr United won their Scottish Cup replay against 10-man Lochee United to set up a fourth round home tie against local rivals Kilmarnock.
Neil McGowan gave the home side a half-time lead with a 36th-minute header.
David Gormley headed Ayr further ahead on 53 minutes and Bryan Prunty's shot added a third five minutes later.
Substitute Paul Blackwood pulled one back for Lochee shortly before captain Charlie Cargill received a second yellow card with 13 minutes remaining.
Ayr: Grindlay, Keenan, Walker, Henderson, McGowan (Dempsie 59), Borris, Stevenson, Aitken, Easton (Agnew 78), Prunty, Gormley (Williams 83).
Subs Not Used: Stewart, Weaver.
Booked: Walker.
