Celtic and Dunfermline will meet for the fourth time in a Scottish Cup final when they clash at Hampden on Saturday.
The sides met twice in the 1960s with the legendary Jock Stein playing a key role for both clubs.
Stein led the Pars to their first cup success in 1961, while he began his Celtic revolution with victory in 1965.
Celtic won the most recent meeting in 2004, with Henrik Larsson stealing the headlines, to ensure the hot favourites have the head-to-head advantage.
1961: DUNFERMLINE 2-0 CELTIC
After little more than a year in charge at East End Park, Stein picked up his first silverware when a midweek replay followed a goalless draw in front of 113,000 fans.
Dunfermline goalkeeper Eddie Connachan played a blinder in the first match and, having worked his shift in the coalmine on the Monday and Tuesday, was again in top form to ensure he went through the tournament without conceding a goal.
Midway through the second half, George Peebles delivered a cross which took a touch from a defender and fell for Dave Thomson to head home powerfully.
And, with just two minutes remaining, Charlie Dickson beat the advancing Frank Haffey to an Alex Smith pass and rounded the stranded keeper to settle the match.
1965: CELTIC 3-2 DUNFERMLINE
It was this victory over Dunfermline, who arrived as favourites, that signalled Celtic's sparkling revival under Stein.
He had only been at the club for two months but managed to land the club's first trophy in nearly 10 years.
The Fifers had finished third in the league, some 12 points and five places above Celtic.
But Alex Ferguson, now a rather successful manager himself, was a surprise omission by then boss Willie Cunningham.
And Celtic took advantage, twice coming from behind to prevail at Hampden, with 108,800 fans looking on.
MY SPORT: DEBATE
John McLaughlin and Harry Melrose were on target for the Pars in front, only for Bertie Auld to equalise each time.
With 10 minutes to go, Charlie Gallagher floated in a corner kick and Celtic skipper Billy McNeill rose highest to power in the winning goal with a header.
2004: CELTIC 3-1 DUNFERMLINE
Henrik Larsson brought the curtain down on his glittering Celtic career as he scored twice to help his side come from behind at Hampden.
Andrius Skerla shocked the favourites by putting the Pars ahead on 40 minutes with a looping header.
But the deadly Larsson levelled after 58 minutes when he broke free to curl the ball beyond keeper Derek Stillie.
13 minutes later, the Swedish striker tucked home a second - his 41st of the season, taking his Celtic goals to an incredible 242 in 315 appearances.
With Celtic in complete control, Stilian Petrov slid a third goal into the net six minutes from time.
