Alan Morgan has been announced as the new manager of Welsh Premier League side Aberystwyth Town.
The 35-year-old has left his post as assistant to Bangor City boss Neville Powell to replace Brian Coyne as full-time boss at Park Avenue.
Coyne resigned in September after a poor start to the season but Aber improved and enjoyed a rejuvenation under caretaker boss Christain Edwards.
Former Wales defender Edwards has now been installed as Morgan's assistant.
Morgan is uncle to Seasiders skipper Bari Morgan and beat off competition former Wales internationals Leighton James and Peter Nicholas and former Rhyl boss Alan Bickerstaff.
Morgan, currently head of Tranmere Rovers' youth academy, has been instrumental in a successful period with Bangor number two, helping them to consecutive Welsh Cup final triumphs.
Aberystwyth are hoping to qualify for Europe next season and have won five of their last seven games under caretaker boss Edwards, the former Swansea City and Nottingham Forest defender, so he has been appointed Morgan's right-hand-man.
