Title is still in Saints' sights

Scott Ruscoe

The New Saints believe they can overtake the top two and win the Welsh Premier League.

"Rhyl and Llanelli look strong, but if we keep everyone fit and have no more suspensions we believe we can do it," Scott Ruscoe told BBC Radio Shropshire.

"We lost six players from last season, but we got in the likes of Alex Darlington and Craig Williams, and the mix of experience and youth is good.

"We all get on well, there's a great atmosphere, and we're moving forward."

The Saints currently lie third, just a point behind Llanelli and two adrift of leaders Rhyl.

Their next challenge is away to Aberystwyth this Saturday evening (25 October, 1745 BST).The New Saints - fans' site
