Rotherham 3-1 Southampton

League Two Rotherham eased past Championship Southampton with an impressive 3-1 Carling Cup victory.

Rotherham took an early lead through Nick Fenton who headed home Alex Rhodes's 23rd minute corner.

They added to their lead through Danny Harrison, who curled the ball home from 30-yards, before Stern John pulled it back to 2-1 on the hour-mark.

But Rotherham sealed the victory when Drewe Broughton tapped home from close range to make it 3-1 on 69 minutes.
