Liverpool v Arsenal

A second pitch inspection at 1845 GMT is planned for Liverpool's Carling Cup quarter-final with Arsenal at Anfield.

With the stadium shrouded in fog, an initial inspection was held at 1815 GMT, but if the fog does not thicken, the game is expected to go ahead.

Daniel Agger, Fabio Aurelio, Luis Garcia, Peter Crouch and Robbie Fowler are all expected to play for Liverpool.

Jeremie Aliadiere will lead the line for Arsenal and Lauren may feature as he steps up his recovery from injury.


Liverpool (from): Reina, Finnan, Carragher, Hyypia, Agger, Riise, Aurelio, Luis Garcia, Pennant, Gerrard, Alonso, Gonzalez, Crouch, Fowler, Bellamy, Kuyt, Dudek, Paletta, Peltier.

Arsenal (from): Almunia, Poom, Hoyte, Lauren, Senderos, Djourou, Flamini, Walcott, Song, Denilson, Randall, Traore, Aliadiere, Connolly, Garry, Perez.
