Coleraine secured a convincing 3-0 win over Glenavon in Monday night's Carling Premiership match at the Showgrounds.
The Bannsiders dominated the first half but it was the 58th minute before they went ahead, Rory Patterson sliding in to convert Stephen Carson's cross.
Eunan O'Kane then fired a left-foot shot past Tuda Murphy after latching on to a flick from Darren Boyce after 68.
Carson crossed for O'Kane, who brought the ball under control and shot home right-footed past Murphy on 75 minutes.
With Coleraine enjoying the wind advantage in the first half, Patterson tested Murphy with a 25-yard shot in the third minute but the goalkeeper punched clear.
Two minutes later Patterson got a touch to a Marc Mukendi drive but although he found the net, the effort was ruled out for offside.
O'Kane floated in a corner in the 21st minute, Murphy missed the ball and Ryan Harpur was relieved to see his header rebound off the crossbar.
Boyce fired a left-foot shot just wide of the post three minutes before the break while, at the other end, Molloy's overhead kick from a Stuart King cross flew just over the bar.
Two minutes after half-time, Boyce was through on goal but he failed to get a shot in and then Tommy McCallion saw his curling right-foot attempt saved by Murphy.
Patterson gave his side a deserved lead and three minutes later Trevor Molloy went down in the area under a challenge from Davy O'Hare but referee Trevor Moutray waved away penalty appeals.
O'Kane's left-foot finish made it 2-0 and the same player added the third.
Murphy made further saves from Patterson and Howard Beverland as the home side pushed for a fourth.
