Derry City kept up their title chase with a comfortable 2-0 win at home to Bray Wanderers in the League of Ireland Premier Division on Friday night.
Kevin Deery scored in the fifth minute when his shot from distance took a wicked deflection over the head of visiting goalkeeper Chris O'Connor.
Mark Farren added the second after 38 minutes with a snapshot inside the post after poor defending by Wanderers.
Clive Delaney received a straight red card for a bad tackle after 58 minutes.
Dane Massey and Gary McCabe were wide with early efforts for Bray while Ruairdhi Higgins was also off-target with a speculative effort for the Candystripes.
Farren's goal was his sixth of the season but the striker blazed a shot over from a difficult position after the break.
The win was Derry's fourth consecutive league victory and they lie one point behind league leaders Bohemians.
