Wales Under 21 face Italy Under 21 in their Euro 2011 qualifier on Friday 4 September at Swansea's Liberty Stadium.
It will be the first international match at the Swans' home since the senior friendly with Georgia at the start of the 2008-09 season.
Brian Flynn's side are targeting a place in the 2011 finals in Denmark.
A Football Association of Wales statement read: "The game will go a long way to deciding the top spot in the qualifying group."
Wales U21 face Hungary U21 at Wrexham on Wednesday 12 August following games against Luxembourg that ended 0-0 and 5-1 to Flynn's side.
The kick off time for the Swansea game has yet to be confirmed.
