N Ireland secure Hungary friendly
Northern Ireland will take on Hungary in an international friendly at Windsor Park on Wednesday, 19 November.
The sides last met in a friendly in April 2000, with the eastern European team claiming a 1-0 win in Belfast.
Indeed, Northern Ireland will be seeking a first victory over the visitors after losing all three previous encounters.
The Hungarians are managed by former Holland player Erwin Koeman and the squad includes Fulham's Zoltan Gera.
It is no surprise that Northern Ireland manager Nigel Worthington selected Hungary as the opposition for the game which comes during a four-month break from the World Cup qualifiers.
Two of Northern Ireland's Group Three opponents, Slovenia and Slovakia, share a border with Hungary.
Poland, the Czech Republic and San Marino complete the group.
Northern Ireland have failed to qualify for a major tournament since 1986.
