Bulgaria U21 0-2 England U21

First-half goals from Tom Huddlestone and Mark Noble helped England to a 2-0 win over Bulgaria in their Uefa U21 Championship qualifier in Sofia.

Huddlestone opened the scoring on 25 minutes, sending a volley skidding in after James Milner's cross.

Noble doubled the lead after shimmying past keeper Nikolay Mihaylov, but he later picked up a booking which rules him out of the next qualifier.

England now have two wins from their first two qualifiers.

Bulgaria U21: Mihailov, Domovchiyski, Bandalovski, Ivanov, Lanchev (Dulgerov 68), Kovachev, Fidanin, Orlinov (Stoev 54), Bozhinov, Dimitrov, Kyrdov (Mirchev 62).
Subs Not Used: Nikolov, Aleksandrov, Velichkov, Starokin.

Booked: Bozhinov.

England U21: Hart, Cranie, Andrew Taylor, Noble, Steven Taylor, Onuoha, Milner, Huddlestone, Derbyshire (Moore 82), Agbonlahor (Kightly 70), Walcott (Muamba 55).
