Italy U21 3-1 Czech Republic U21
Italy claimed their first win of the European Under-21 Championship against the Czech Republic, but failed to progress as England also beat Serbia.
They got the perfect start with Alberto Aquilani flighting in a delightful free-kick after just three minutes.
Michal Papadopulos turned in Frantisek Rajtoral's cross to level, but Giorgio Chiellini's header restored the lead.
Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi rifled in a low effort before the break, but it was all to no avail.
