BREAKING GOSSIP

1334 BST: Arsenal target Marouane Chamakh has revealed he would love to join them. The Bordeaux striker, who could be a replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor, said: "Arsenal would be a dream. If they were to come calling, I would certainly give them a positive answer."

TRANSFER GOSSIP

Tottenham want to sign former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira and have opened talks with the Inter Milan player. Spurs could capture the Frenchman on a free transfer and pay-as-you-play deal.

Manchester City are on the brink of signing Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor for £25m and wages of £130,000 per week.
