Arsene Wenger is prepared to pay £12m to bring Portsmouth midfielder Niko Kranjcar to Arsenal as a replacement for Alexander Hleb. (Daily Mirror)

Wenger is also interested in signing Newcastle striker Obafemi Martins for around £15m. (Daily Telegraph)

Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso. (Daily Telegraph)
