Mansfield left it late but earned a replay against Blue Square Premier rivals Forest Green Rovers.
Sean Rigg set up Jared Hodgkiss to put Rovers ahead from close range shortly before the half-hour mark.
Paul Stonehouse, Conal Platt and Joe O'Cearuill all spurned chances to double the home side's advantage after the break.
Mansfield substitute Ryan Williams found Scott Garner who headed in home the equaliser four minutes from time.
Forest Green manager Dave Hockaday told BBC Radio Gloucestershire:
"We should have won that game. A mistake at the end has cost us.
"I'm delighted with the boys as they have been given a bit of a tough time by some people.
"We've come out with not what we deserved."
Mansfield Town manager David Holdsworthtold BBC Radio Nottingham:
"The urgency is what I think we lacked today. We looked leggy in my opinion.
"A lot of the players have been on the road since 6am, so it's been a long day. It's not just around the corner but that's just what we've got to deal with.
"We did leave it late but I am delighted we are in the hat."
