Blue Square Premier side Cambridge United eased into the FA Cup second round with a comfortable win over Ilkeston Town from Blue Square North.
Striker Chris Holroyd gave Cambridge an early lead from close range with his 15th goal of the season.
Jai Reason doubled the home side's advantage with a 20-yard drive midway through the second half.
Courtney Pitt extended Cambridge's lead with a free-kick and substitute Adam Marriott made it 4-0 on his home debut.
Cambridge United boss Martin Ling told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire:
"Let's be fair about it, for 60 minutes it was an even game. I said to them at half-time we stood off them too much.
"We needed to put our foot down on the pedal and when we did do we got three quality goals.
"It was nice to see. Certainly the answers were there."
