Blue Square Premier side York shocked managerless League Two outfit Crewe with two goals in the last five minutes to reach the FA Cup second round.
Joe Grant put Crewe ahead when he fired into the roof of the net from deep inside the penalty box but York levelled from Richard Brodie's header.
Calvin Zola's header put Crewe back in front soon after, but Richard Pacquette's stabbed shot made it 2-2.
And Brodie's strike from the edge of the area two minutes later won it.
York manager Martin Foyle told BBC Radio York:
"You can see how much it meant to everybody, the players, the supporters and the Chairman on the pitch.
"I said to the lads at half-time that is was a long way from over.
"We have our critics, but it was the way we got in amongst them and we worked on a lot of things in training. Credit to them, they took it out there today."
Crewe Alexandra interim manager Dario Gradi told BBC Radio Stoke:
"It was a great win for York, they had a great second half and put us under a lot of pressure.
"We've still got the same fault, we miss a lot of our chances and we concede goals. We concede two or three goals fairly easily and fairly regularly".
"Their two centre forwards were a real handful all game and I thought that on the whole our defenders handled them quite well, but they had too much pressure on them to go the distance".
