Barrow 2-1 Eastleigh
Jason Walker scored in injury time to send Blue Square Premier side Barrow into the second round at the expense of Eastleigh from Blue Square South.
Andy Cook put the home side ahead from outside the penalty area 10 minutes before the break.
Eastleigh looked to have earned a replay when Andy Forbes equalised from close range five minutes from time.
But Walker saved his side a 600-mile round trip to the south coast with a superb long-range stoppage time strike.
