Watford 1-0 Scunthorpe
Grzegorz Rasiak's second half goal sent championship side Watford into the fourth round of the FA Cup at the expense of League One Scunthorpe.
Rasiak poked the ball home from close range after Adrian Mariappa had flicked on Jobi McAnuff's corner.
Watford keeper Scott Loach was in decent form saving well from Martyn Woolford and Garry Thompson.
Grant McCann also hit the post from the edge of the area for Scunthorpe before Rasiak's 67th minute winner.
Watford: Loach, Hoyte (Bridcutt 83), DeMerit, Mariappa, Cork, Harley, McAnuff, O'Toole (Rasiak 59), Jenkins, Priskin (Bromby 89), Smith.
