Havant and Waterlooville, Blue Square South minnows, face seven-times winners Liverpool in the fourth round on Saturday.
It is a tie which epitomises all those cliches about the oldest cup competition in the world. It is David v Goliath, it is 'the magic of the Cup' personified.
Indeed, it is remarkable the Hawks have made it this far. When they step out at Anfield it will be their eighth game in the competition.
They have already dumped Bognor Regis, Fleet Town, Leighton Town, York City, Notts County and Swansea City out of the Cup to earn the right to face the millionaires of Liverpool.

BBC Sport spoke to assistant manager Charlie Oatway who gives the lowdown on the guys who will be taking on Rafa Benitez, Steven Gerrard and the rest in the biggest game in the Hawks' history.
THE HAWKS
Manager - Shaun Gale: "We call him spiky because he spends a lot of money on hair gel, but I have a lot of time for Shaun. He is a great man manager and will let people have their opinion and I respect that about him. He is new to management but has a bright future."
Fitness coach - Adi Aymes: "Adi is a great lad and is as honest as the day is long. He doesn't suffer fools gladly and is a born winner, which is why he has achieved so much in sport. Adi used to be a professional cricketer for Hampshire, spending 17 years there, and also played for Bristol Rovers' reserves.
He is also our corporate manager and works so hard for the club and is great to have around."
Goalkeeper - Kevin Scriven: "Kevin is a builder off the pitch and works for his dad's company. He used to be on AFC's Bournemouth's books as a youngster and his best attribute as a keeper is his shot stopping.
The lads tease him about being boring and we've banned him from doing any more interviews, but it was his penalty save that really kept us in it against Swansea."
Right-back - Justin Gregory: "Justin has the worst hair in the squad and we let him know that, it's truly awful. He's one of the most honest people you could meet and is fully committed to the cause. Away from football he's at college training to be a physio."
Gregory to miss FA Cup tie at Anfield
Centre-half - Jay Smith: "Jay works in planning and is an ex-Brentford apprentice. He'll probably be marking Fernando Torres and will relish that challenge. He's a good footballer and reads the game very well."
Centre-half - Phil Warner: "Phil used to play for Southampton and has Premier League football experience so will not be daunted by the challenge. He is technically gifted and good on the ball but gets teased for being the poser of the squad. Away from football he is now a van driver."
Left-back - Tony Taggart: "Tony got us in the third round with his goal against Notts County and we all get reminded of that. He's good as gold though and a lovely lad who has got a bright future.
He works as a binman but used to be an apprentice at Brentford."
Right-wing - Mo Harkin: "Mo used to be on Wycombe's books and I've never seen quicker feet on a footballer. He can give anyone a torrid time on his day and has great ability on the ball and we love having him in the team."
Centre-midfield - Jamie Collins: "Jamie is a primary school teacher and the captain of the team.
He'll be coming up against Steven Gerrard who is worth more than £20m and that shows just how far we have come. He is fully commited to the cause and will love leading the team out in front of the Kop."
Centre-midfield - Charlie Oatway: "What can I say about myself? I'm probably the player Liverpool fear the most, a born match-winner and I reckon a few of the Liverpool players will be throwing sickies on the day of the match...I don't blame them.
In all seriousness I can't wait for the game. Off the pitch I work for Brighton and Hove Albion on a scheme called, 'Albion in the Community'."
Left-wing - Alfie Potter: "We've got Alfie on-loan from Peterborough for the rest of the season and he has been a great player for us since he arrived.
He is a good lad and another who has a bright future in the game and is getting some valuable time on the pitch at Havant."
Striker - Rocky Baptiste: "Rocky is a Liverpool fan and training to be a London cabbie. He is a bit of a non-league football legend and loves scoring goals. Off the pitch he is a lovely lad and you will definitely see him before you hear him."
Striker - Richard Pacquette: "Richard is a school caretaker and the best way of describing him is to say that he has a lot of junk in his trunk.
He uses it to his advantage though and loves to hold off players and play with his back to goal. Gets some vital goals also."
And the rest - Tom Jordan: "Tom is a personal fitness coach and scored the goal that got us to Anfield. He is a centre-half and an imposing one at that. His father is the Portsmouth assistant-coach Joe Jordan."
And the rest - Jamie Slabber: "I think quite a lot of Jamie and he is one player that could definitely go on to better things in the game. He started his career at Tottenham and also played for Swindon Town."
And the rest - Shaun Wilkinson: "We call Shaun 'Black-tooth' because he has the blackest tooth I have ever seen. It has to be seen to be believed.
Shaun works in insulation away from football and is a great player to have on the pitch as he loves winning the ball."
