Randers 4-0 Linfield

Linfield are effectively out of the Europa League after a heavy defeat away to Danish side Randers on Thursday.

The Belfast club were doing well in the first leg of the first qualifying round game until former Denmark international Soren Berg scored in the 36th minute.

Senegalese player Tidiane Sane doubled the Randers lead shortly after half-time followed by late goals from Marc Nygaard and Kasper Lorentzen.

Alan Blayney, Philip Lowry and Curtis Allen made their Linfield debuts.

The second leg is at Mourneview Park in Lurgan on Thursday, 9 July
