Man City & Villa given kind draws

Uefa Cup draw

Aston Villa and Manchester City were handed ties against little-known opponents in the Uefa Cup second qualifying round draw on Friday.

Villa will play Icelandic side Hafnarfjordur while City meet Danish side FC Midtjylland.

Both sides are scheduled to play at home in the first legs on 14 August.

Queen of the South will play Danish outfit Nordsjalland after reaching this stage following their impressive run to the Scottish Cup final last season.

Villa, in conjunction with their opponents, have requested the tie is switched, which would see the first leg take place in Iceland on 14 August, with the decider at Villa Park two weeks later.
