Rhyl 2-4 Bohemians

Bohemians sent Rhyl crashing out of the Intertoto Cup with a 4-2 win at Belle Vue for a 9-3 aggregate victory.

The Lilywhites' heavy loss in Dublin last week was compounded by quick goals from Stephen O'Donnell, Jason Byrne and Jason McGuinness.

Mark Connolly struck back for the Welsh Premier side with two goals.

But Harpel Singh added a fourth first half goal for the Eircom League leaders, leaving both sides to meander through a goalless second period.

Bohemians advance to face either FK Riga of Latvia or Israel's Fylkir in the second round (5/6 July and 12/13 July).

Scotland's Hibernian are potential third-round opponents, those games to be played on 19/20 July and 26/27 July.

The eleven successful teams from Intertoto Cup qualifying will go on to enter the second qualifying round of the Uefa Cup.
