Uefa investigates Brann & Everton

Everton captain Phil Neville confronts a fan in Bergen

Everton and Norwegian side SK Brann will face Uefa disciplinary proceedings after the behaviour of fans during their clash in Bergen in February.

Visiting Everton supporters invaded the pitch at the end of their side's 2-0 win in the Uefa Cup last 32 tie.

And Brann fans allegedly threw missiles, reportedly including a snooker ball, in the direction of Everton keeper Tim Howard.

Uefa's disciplinary committee will consider the evidence on 20 March.

Everton won the return 6-1 at Goodison Park, qualifying 8-1 on aggregate.

David Moyes's side face Fiorentina in the first leg of their last-16 tie in Florence on Thursday 6 March.
