FK Vetra 0-2 Blackburn

Benni McCarthy Benni McCarthy and Matt Derbyshire each scored to put Blackburn in control of their Intertoto Cup third-round tie against FK Vetra after the first leg.

Striker McCarthy notched the opener from six yards on 29 minutes, following a cross from Mort Gamst Pedersen.

Rovers never managed to hit top form but held their lead quite comfortably.

And Derbyshire sealed the victory on 80 minutes when he drilled in a 25-yard effort, which keeper Vaidas Zutautas could only help into the net.
