Shrewsbury hung on for a goalless draw at Lincoln despite having Richard Walker sent-off after three minutes.
The striker was dismissed following an apparent elbow on Daniel Hone, but the Imps struggled to find a way through.
Aaron Brown missed a great chance after the break and Lenell John-Lewis headed wide when well placed.
Lee Beevers failed to find the target when inside the area and Lee Frecklington fired over from six yards with eight minutes remaining.
