Hereford 0-1 Macclesfield
Macclesfield earned their first league win of the season thanks to a late goal from Francis Green.
Hereford should have taken the lead but Steve Guinan failed to put any power in a close-range header and he later headed wide from another good chance.
Goalkeeper Wayne Brown then saved well from Danny Thomas and Terry Dunfield volleyed over from five yards as Macclesfield threatened.
But Green made the breakthrough on 81 minutes, slotting in from 10 yards.
