Peterborough 2-1 Colchester

Peterborough stretched their unbeaten League One run to 13 matches with victory over Colchester.

George Boyd carved out the home side's opening goal when he picked out striker Craig Mackail-Smith to finish smartly.

Colchester rallied and equalised when former Posh striker Clive Platt headed home a deep David Perkins cross.

But Colchester's celebrations were cut short when Posh struck again moments later as Boyd clinically fired into the bottom corner from 12 yards.
