Danny Graham struck twice as Carlisle defeated Crewe at Brunton Park.
Graham volleyed home from six yards after Scott Dobie crossed from the right and then headed home an accurate cross from Simon Hackney.
Chris McCready pulled a goal back from close range after a flick-on from Julien Baudet, who later his the bar.
Dobie struck from six yards and Hackney finished after a Michael Bridges through ball before Tom Pope headed home a late consolation goal.
