Wigan battled to a tame draw with play-off hopefuls Wycombe in a scrappy clash at the JJB Stadium which was made worse by a swirling wind.
After scoring seven goals in their last two games, Wigan did not have the same threat in front of goal.
Their best chance fell to striker Lee McCulloch, but Wycombe goalkeeper Martin Taylor was well positioned for his shot and also did well to tip over a dipping free-kick from Peter Kennedy.
Wigan goalkeeper John Filan produced a spectacular save to deny Jermaine McSporran with eight minutes left.
But the game ended on a controversial note with Wigan's strong appeal for handball turned down.
Wycombe defenders David Tuttle and Mark Rogers were outstanding at the back with vital interceptions to stop McCulloch and Paul Dalglish in the first half.
