Coventry 1-1 Derby

Substitute Clinton Morrison grabbed a last-minute equaliser as Coventry rescued a point against rivals Derby.

The 69th-minute substitute turned in Michael Mifsud's cross from the byeline for his first Championship goal for the Sky Blues.

Derby took the lead when Rob Hulse headed in from 15 yards for his fourth goal of the season on 41 minutes.

Coventry had keeper Keiren Westwood to thank for keeping out a Miles Addison's volley before Morrison's late strike.

Coventry manager Chris Coleman:
"The way we kept going over the course of the 90 minutes was very pleasing. We kept pushing and asking questions.

"At points in the second half we were pushing so hard that they hit us on the counter attack a couple of times and could have finished it.

"I was happy with the reaction of my players after Tuesday's home defeat to Burnley. I wanted a response and that's what I got. There were no shrinking violets out there. The players wanted the ball and kept going to get the ball."

Derby boss Paul Jewell on the decision to award Coventry the throw-in which led to their late goal:
"The linesman has had a decision to make - an easy decision - and he has given them a throw when it shouldn't have been their throw and they have scored from it.

"Another time he gave them a goal-kick when we should have had a corner and then Gary Teale is three yards offside and he keeps his flag down.

"I have to be careful what I say. He was consistent, I'll give him that. If I am wrong (about the throw) I will ring the linesman up and tell him that I am sorry."
