Coventry 0-0 QPR

Coventry moved four points away from the relegation zone after they were held to a goalless draw by QPR.

The Sky Blues began positively and Michael Mifsud shot wide, before Lee Camp saved Jay Tabb's deflected cross.

Leon Best had the game's best chance, but after the striker raced clean through, his shot was saved by Camp.

Akos Buzsaky sent in a dipping shot narrowly off target as QPR briefly threatened, before Best missed the target in the dying seconds.

  • Coventry boss Chris Coleman:
"A team that plays like we did in the first half belongs at the other end of the league.

"But it was a relegation battle when I arrived, I was under no illusions. The team has lost a lot of games recently so there's no quick fix.

"It's going to be a very difficult run in but we are going to be OK is if we approach games like tonight."

  • Queen's Park Rangers boss Luigi De Canio:

"Coventry forced us to get a draw.

"I am disappointed but I say congratulations to Coventry.

"It's down to their performance that we were unable to play like we wanted. However, we should and we could have done more."
