Sheffield United 3-1 Wolves
James Beattie's second-half double helped Sheffield United to come from behind to beat Wolves at Bramall Lane.
Stephen Elliott had put Wolves ahead, slamming home the rebound after Stephen Ward's shot hit keeper Paddy Kenny.
But Beattie levelled after the break when he pounced on a weak defensive header to head past Wayne Hennessey.
When Gary Breen brought down Beattie, the striker added a second from the penalty spot, and Jon Stead tapped in United's third in stoppage time.
Sheffield United manager Bryan Robson on James Beattie:
"James has led the line really well, he is doing what I expected of him. He's enjoying it here and when you're scoring you are confident.
"Young Stephen Quinn came in and was very composed on the ball and worked very hard, so I was really pleased with his performance.
"They hit the bar, but overall I do feel we were the better team."
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy:
"I thought at 1-1 we'd weathered a good start to the second half from them, which is what I'd expect.
"Then a ball down the middle, we let it bounce and it ends up in our net. It's a cardinal sin.
"I'm not here to condemn my team because overall we put in a good performance, but we failed to deal with basic things and that's what cost us."
