Paul Stonehouse hit a fine late strike to earn Forest Green Rovers a vital point against Eastbourne Borough.
The hosts started poorly and could easily have been 2-0 down within ten minutes as Paul Armstrong twice fired over the bar when well placed.
Eastbourne's dominance paid off when Matt Crabb tapped in a cross from Liam Enver-Marum before the break.
But Rovers pressed hard in the second half and they were rewarded with 11 minutes left when Stonehouse fired in.
