Ford will support Sheringham move
Welling manager Andy Ford had said he will not stop leading scorer Charlie Sheringham from leaving if a bigger club wants him in the transfer window.
The 20-year-old, the son of former England striker Teddy, has scored 15 goals this season to help lift the Wings up to fifth in Blue Square South.
Ford told BBC Radio Kent: "I wouldn't stand in anyone's way to go on and improve themselves.
"It's not only Charlie, other players could easily play at a higher level."
He added: "It's early days though and we've got half the season left."
