Droylsden hero salutes enjoyment
Droylsden goal hero Matthew Tipton has put his FA Cup success down to "more enjoyment" after knocking Darlington out in their first-round replay.
The ex-Macclesfield, Oldham and Bury striker scored the only goal to set up a second-round tie with Chesterfield.
The 28-year-old joined the Bloods from Hyde United last month.
He told BBC Radio Manchester: "I am best when I am enjoying my football. I spoke to the manager before the game he said the same."
Tipton continued: "He said he'd brought me to the club to play; he said: 'You're a good footballer, play the way you know and go out and enjoy it.'
"So I did. I was a bit more relaxed and obviously the chance came and I think you could see I was relaxed when I managed to put it in the back of the net.
"It's been fantastic. I've been here four or five weeks and it's not really happened for me. I've been trying a little bit hard and the goals haven't come. I've been a bit disappointed and after the weekend I had a long hard think to myself to get back to what I'm good at."
