Dover not unstoppable, say rivals

Andy Hessenthaler

Ryman Premier leaders Dover can be caught, despite being nine points clear at the top of the table, according to Tonbridge Angels boss Tom Warrilow.

Warrilow, whose side are sixth in the league following a 3-3 draw at Sutton United, told BBC Radio Kent: "I don't think they've wrapped it up already.

"We've got to play them twice and some of the other teams have got to have another go at them.

"Admittedly they've had a fantastic start and are a formidable force."

Warrilow added: "I think it's great for Kent football and great for their club that Dover have bounced back from where they were.

"We're hoping to get where they are.

"Hessy [manager Andy Hessenthaler] has done a great job but by no means is it over."

Tonbridge missed the chance to go second in the Ryman Premier as they let a 3-1 half-time lead slip at Sutton United.

Warrilow said: "The squad we've got is hopefully good enough to sustain a run and get in the play-offs this year.

"If we get the result and go second I'll be absolutely delighted to go into Christmas in an ideal position, just looking over he shoulder of the top two teams."
