Kendal Town player-manager Lee Ashcroft has said his side's 3-1 win over FC United on Tuesday was his "best ever night" as a manager.
Two goals from Carl Osman and another from Michael Cole saw Kendal move up to fourth in the Unibond Premier in front of 1,801 fans at Bury's Gigg Lane.
Ashcroft told BBC Radio Cumbria: "It was my proudest moment as the manager of this team.
"There were 150 Kendal fans down here who sang all night and were fantastic."
Both sides were reduced to ten men after Ashcroft and former Kendal defender Simon Garner were shown red cards following a clash in the first-half.

"The referee said I used an elbow. I just tried to guard him and he [Garner] responded by trying to headbutt me," said Ashcroft.
"If that was an elbow then I'd be suspended all the time. I came off the pitch feeling like I didn't want to play football again.
"I'll definitely appeal as I haven't done anything wrong."
The Parkside Road club extended their winning run in the league to seven games to move to within a point of second-placed Marine with two games in hand.
"The way we played, I'm sure there will be a few managers not looking forward to playing my side," said Ashcroft.
"My lads are all fit, they work hard and play the game the way it should be played.
"If we continue playing like that until the end of the season, we can't finish out of the top five."
Kendal go to Unibond Division One (South) side Stamford on Saturday for in the first qualifying round of the FA Trophy.
"It's a very important game for us financially, especially after going out of the FA Cup," said Ashcroft
"They've got a very good home record, we've got a great away record so it should be a good game."
