Grays 1-2 Stevenage
Mitchell Cole exploited some lax Grays defending to score both goals as Stevenage's resurgence gathered pace.
First Stuart Thurgood's suicidal pass was intercepted by Cole, who muscled past Stuart Elliott before running into the box and finishing well.
But within a minute Barry Cogan met Sam Sloma's corner and although Chris Day did well to save his header, Jamie Stuart rammed home the leveller.
But Stuart then gave the ball away and Cole sprinted away to make it 2-1.
