Allen attends Maidenhead session
Maidenhead manager Johnson Hippolyte revealed ex-Leicester boss Martin Allen has been involved in coaching the team.
"Martin's out of work and I can't understand why because he's such a good coach and a good manager," Hippolyte told BBC Radio Berkshire.
"He asked me if I'd mind him coming down and looking at a session and I said 'You might as well take part.' He did and we had a good time."
Hippolyte said there were no immediate plans for another session with Allen.
Allen is from Reading and still lives locally. He left his most recent position at Leicester in August 2007 after just three months in the job.
