Torquay 1-0 Exeter
Tim Sills' late header ensured Torquay maintained their position in second place in the Blue Square Premier table with a win over Exeter City.
United avenged the 4-3 Boxing Day defeat to their rivals when Sills' found the back of the net from six yards 15 minutes from full-time.
Exeter's prospects of victory were dealt a blow when defender Matt Taylor had to be substituted after 40 minutes.
The win also maintains Torquay's unbeaten home record.
