Hearts of Oak captured the Ghana Premier League title on Sunday with a 2-0 victory over relegated St Mirren in the last game of the season.
Striker Samuel Affum scored both goals in the victory which that ensured Hearts finished three points clear of their arch-rivals Asante Kotoko.
Kumasi-based Kotoko could only manage a 2-2 draw in their derby match with King Faisal Babes.
Both Hearts and Kotoko will now play in next year's African Champions League.
It was an amazing comeback by Hearts who were 16 points ahead Kotoko at the halfway stage of the league.
But they slipped in the second round, allowing Kotoko the gap until the last day of the season.
Hearts, who only finished eighth in the league last season, now have 19 league titles, two fewer than Kotoko.
