Cameroon's Coton Sport beat DR Congo club TP Mazembe 1-0 in their Group B match in the 2008 Champions League on Saturday.

It was a stoppage-time goal at the end of the second half from Niger's Kamilou Daouda that gave Coton Sport three points.

Coton Sport are only the third Cameroonian side to contest the group phase and the last champions were Canon Yaounde in 1980.

In another Group B match on Friday, a last-minute goal from Ifeanyi Onigbo gave Sudanese club Al Hilal a 3-2 winning start in the first game of the group stage.

Cletus Itodo put Nigerian side Enyimba ahead in the 35th minute, but Al Hilal captain Haitham Mustafa equalised from the penalty spot on 42 minutes.

Yousuf Mohamed gave Al Hilal the lead a minute after the break, with a shot from distance.

Stephen Worgu made it 2-2 in the 86th minute, before the late winner from Onigbo, himself a Nigerian.

Enyimba were reduced to 10 men in the 62nd minute when Okey Odita was sent off for a second bookable offence.

Al Hilal are looking to go one better than last year when they reached the semi-finals, while Enyimba are looking for a third title to add to their triumphs of 2003 and 2004.
