Nigeria striker Manasseh Ishiaku has joined newly promoted Bundesliga side FC Cologne on a four-year contract.
The 25-year-old, who had been linked to a host of European clubs including Turkish giants Galatasaray, moves from relegated club Duisburg.
Ishiaku joined Duisburg last season from Belgium's Club Brugge and managed to score 10 goals in 25 appearances in an injury-plagued term.
Despite the lure of Uefa Champions League action with Galatasaray, the striker opted to remain in the German top flight.
"It is a fantastic move to a great club," Ishiaku said.
"I've had a season already in Germany and I think it will be better to improve further here, but this is a step up for me.

"Things may have been different if Duisburg were not relegated, so I intend to go to another club and I had a good feeling about Cologne."

Cologne coach Michael Meier said: "We are happy that Duisburg allowed the player to move in this direction.
"He proved his qualities last season in the league which was impressive. We are confident he will be a value addition to the squad," Meier added.
Ishiaku began his career at Nigerian amateur side Ade Shooting Stars of Kaduna and Nigerdock Lagos before arriving in Belgium in 2000.
He first played at KSV Roeselare and had a two-year spell at La Louviere before joining Club Brugge.
Ishiaku has made two appearances for the Nigeria national team.
