Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola says that Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o is not in his plans for the Spanish club.
Brazilian Ronaldinho and Portuguese Deco are also missing from Guardiola's plans for the 2008/9 season.
"We are putting a team together and they aren't in our thoughts but we'll see what happens," said Guardiola on Tuesday.
"This comes from analysing questions of performance, seasons they have had in the team, and other intangibles."
Barcelona have gone two years without winning any silverware, and finished only third in La Liga last season.
Eto'o, 27, has been the club's first-choice striker since 2004, but has missed a large part of the last two seasons through injury.
"We are looking for a number nine who will complement Thierry Henry and Bojan Krkic, so that the three will all feel like first choices." said Guardiola, who replaced Frank Rijkaard at the end of last season.
Italian club AC Milan have shown interest in Eto'o, a three-time African Footballer of the Year, who has scored 77 league goals in his four seasons with Barcelona.
