Mbokani extends Standard stay
DR Congo striker Dieumerci Mbokani Bezua has extended his stay with Belgian club Standard Liege.
The 22-year-old signed a one-year extension to his contract with the newly-crowned Belgian champions.
The deal will leave Mbokani at the club until 2013.
He scored 15 goals in his first season at the club, including two against Anderlecht last month that secured the club a first title in 25 years.
Mbokani and the rest of the team were named honorary citizens in Liege this week.
