Mido recalled to Egypt squad

Mido

Middlesbrough striker Mido has been recalled to the Egypt squad after scoring for his new English Premier League club.

Mido is set to play his first international since February when Egypt meet Burundi in Bujumbura on Sunday.

An away win will hand the defending champions a place in next January's African Nations Cup finals in Ghana.

Anderlecht midfielder Ahmed Hassan is in line for a 129th cap, making him the second most capped African international of all time.
