Jaidi recalled by Tunisia

Radhi Jaidi

Tunisia have recalled England-based defender Radhi Jaidi for next week's African Nation Cup qualifier against Seychelles.

The 31-year-old retired from international football after the World Cup in Germany in June but has been included in the 22-man squad for the game in Victoria.

Jaidi, who plays for Championship club Birmingham City, was capped 92 times by Tunisia, for whom he scored six goals.

Coach Roger Lemerre also recalled midfielder Slim Benachour for the match on 24 March.

Benachour criticised the coach last year after being left out of the World Cup squad and has since not been invited.

Tunisia lead the group on four points from their first two matches as they bid to qualify for next year's African Nations Cup finals in Ghana.
